Really great, thank you for sharing! I had to do the same to my dog 2 years ago after having had him for 18 years and he had been my dog since I was three. I had to go to work 30 mins later and could not stop going to take breaks in the bathroom to cry. Pet death grief is valid and you expressed yours very well.
